All too much, things are being made commodity items. Electricity, shopping items, food and even water are part of our capitalist society. It doesn't seem to matter to the corporations OR governments that we are using resources that are not renewable as commodity items, driving prices up, planning to make things obsolete and throwing too much away, like we will never run out.
The truth is, we will run out of commodities unless they are gaurded and treated very differently.
I don't know when it will come crashing down. Everyone knows that it WILL, but not when, and no one is doing anything about it. But that doesn't mean you can't do something about it.
You can start doing it yourself. There are ways to save money, water and the environment on the cheap. You can start doing it yourself and you can and WILL be prepared for a economic crash, saving yourself, your family and friends from possible hardships. I would like to show you three ebooks that are invaluable for the concerned, responsible person.
DIY Solar Water Heater - Build your own solar hot water heater for less than $100 in parts. Hot water is very useful and rather expensive. The sun is free, and you can have hot water most of the time, even augment your own system to reduce electricity costs. The warmer the water is going into your heater, the less energy it will use.
Garden Using Half The Water - Growing food will be paramount. Growing food as a hobby now will slash your food bills and give you and your family needed skills. Using less water to do so will help ensure you can have food when water is scarce.
DIY Solar and Wind Energy - Reduce your electricity bill now, and give yourself power when none is available, all yourself, using the power of nature.
Being able to be self sustainable is the skill that can and will save the life of you and your family someday. These three DIY books can be the start.
