 Welcome to the Truth of Water online resource for water related information.  This website is a free, unbiased source for any and all water related matters.  Topics include water technology such as filtration, softening and disinfection.  Health related topics are covered such as water quality, the source and concern with bacteria and virus contamination of your water, and other contaminants like pesticides, metals and chemicals that leach from plastic into your drinking water.

 You may have questions to do with aesthetic water issues.  Like why does your water smell or taste bad? Or why are there red stains around your sinks and other fixtures?  Or perhaps its equipment related, like how do select the proper filtration system, or disinfection system.  Or even water pipeline and plumbing questions, like how to deal with lead in your household pipes.

 The Truth of Water gives you personal, unbiased answers to any and all water related information, free of charge.  There is no ulterior motive, because we sell no equipment or services.

 How it Works:

 You have water related questions specific to you.  Every situation is different, and every problem has its own elements of uniqueness.  We understand that at The Truth of Water.  That's why we don't give you reams of information to sift through: We give you specific answers to your specific questions.

It's that simple.  Someone will be with you shortly.  All answers are posted on our answers page, so others can benefit from them.  Comments are open on all answers, so you may discuss them or ask for further clarification.

 Who We Are:

 Currently, the administrator is the source of information.  He works at a water treatment facility in southern Ontario, and holds several drinking water licenses.  He has ten years of hands on experience, and is a Certified Engineering Technologist and a Canadian Certified Environmental Practitioner.  His expertise includes water treatment technology, water chemistry, piping and process systems. If he cannot answer your question, he has the resources to find the answers for you.

 As the site grows, so too will the contributors, and rest assured they will all have equal or better qualifications than the administrator.
